We are so thankful to be able to support our local Rhode Island artists by offering them a showcase in 2 of our offices, Narragansett and Jamestown. For February, we have Kira Narlee Cortese showcasing in our Narragansett Office and Mackenzie Damon showcasing in our Jamestown office.
About the Artist- Kira Narlee Cortese
Kira Narlee Cortese of @NarleeArt. Kira is a born and raised New Englander and 20 year resident of Rhode Island. She has been collecting nature treasures and painting her whole life, but only began to combine the two while stuck at home in 2020. She hopes that her art helps you notice and appreciate the bountiful beauty of nature that surrounds us, right down to its tiniest treasures.
About the Artist – Mackenzie Damon
Mackenzie Damon of @mackenziedamonstudio. Mackenzie is a freelance painter and illustrator based in Jamestown. Her work is a study of color and realism, often finding common themes in nature. She studied at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts cum laude from the University of Rhode Island. Her works have been exhibited at Gallery Z in Providence and she has won several Scholastic Art Awards. Mackenzie has a passion for her oceanside community and strives to bring local scenes to life through her work.
